Heller supports the Malteser worldwide relief agency in Dinklage

Apprentices from Heller Tools support the Malteser agency in Dinklage.

Dinklage. The Malteser in Dinklage will soon be moving their collection point for their Belarus aid project. The Heller Tools GmbH from Dinklage supports the project with the construction and provision of a loading ramp, which is needed at the new location.

Over the past eight years, the volunteers of the Dinklage Maltesers have been using a building next to the former Heitmann bakery in the Bahnhofstrasse as its collection point for donations. The volunteers expressed their sincere thanks to Mr. Heitmann for allowing them to use the building. For various reasons, relocation was necessary and the Maltesers began searching for a corresponding space for their donation collection point. Luckily, a suitable building was found, namely the former dairy at Sanderstrasse 33. The Blömer family who owns the building has kindly allowed the Dinklage Maltesers to use the ground floor of the building, for which the volunteers are very thankful.

To use the building as a collection point, some renovation work was necessary, which the volunteers have done over the last four months all by themselves for the most part. The construction work included building a loading ramp. The Dinklage Maltesers are very happly that they were able to win over the Heller Tools company, which also paid for the cost of building the ramp. Apprentices from Heller Tools are enthusiastically building the ramp now in the company’s training workshop. With the installation of the ramp, the work will be finished within the next week so that the new space can be blessed by Father Johannes Kabon during a small ceremony. On Saturday, July 8, 2017, the first donations will be accepted in the new building from 9 AM to 12 PM.
